About TSL Check and this site
tslcheck.com publishes plain answers for people who are buying a Tesla or about to take delivery of one. It belongs to TSL Check, an independent iPhone app that walks you through a Tesla delivery or a used Tesla inspection.
Who is behind it
The site and the app are made by the team behind mais1app.com, an independent app publisher. We do not publish names or photos of people, because the work matters more than who typed it.
TSL Check is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla and its models are named only to say what a page is about.
What the site is for
Every page starts from a question a buyer actually asks: why does my delivery date keep changing, what comes with the car, is it normal that the range is lower than advertised, what should I ask a private seller. We answer it first, then give the detail, and only then say where the app can help.
How we write
- Questions come from what buyers ask in public groups and from search data. We never quote or name anyone.
- Facts come from official sources: Tesla support pages and owner manuals, and the laws and public agencies of the country each page covers. Each source is listed at the end, with the date we consulted it.
- Before we publish, we read those pages ourselves and note the exact sentence we rely on. If we could not read a source, the page does not go out.
- Our own opinions and our own arithmetic are marked as ours.
- We never quote the price of the app. We do not quote current car prices or offers either: only dated examples with a source, and a reminder that they change.
- We do not give legal or financial advice. Rules that depend on the country say which country they cover.
- The photos at the top of articles are AI-generated and are labeled as such. The screenshots of the app are real.
How we keep it up to date
Once a month we review every article: we read the official sources again, add what search data shows readers are missing and strengthen the links between articles. The "Updated" date changes only when the content does.
We also update an article straight away if Tesla changes a fact we cite.
